This looping short video is meant to show off aspects of Dinamo’s fun and inventive Camera typeface. The typeface has two main versions, one without the dot details and one with them. I wanted to highlight some of the intricate curvilinear shapes of the letterforms as well as bring in a playful feel with the music, a track called “pochita” by the artist vile on soundcloud. Another overarching thematic element was taken from the title of the typeface, “camera” which inspired me to add transitions mirroring lens focus, zoom, and the symbolic recording dot.
