The end product of a semester of research, design, and woodworking, this chair was born from a plank of beech wood. I have always been in tune with more physical design practices, spending time in machine shops throughout my life. I also have a great appreciation for furniture design and after taking a furniture design class my appreciation for the craft grew.
This lounge chair was designed with inspiration from the dimensions of the famous Eames designed LCW chair which produced comfortable proportions even with a very angular design.
